Who ever said the french and the english can’t get along?
“Ready 2 Go” is the second single by Martin Solveig for his upcoming album “SMASH”. Featuring strong vocals from the lead singer of Bloc Party, Kele, “Ready 2 Go” is determined to do well. Its catchy beat, warm, uplifting vibe, and simple chorus is perfect for the current April mood. Even though the song is radio friendly, it manages to include an unexpected dubstep wobble. Dubstep is getting so big that even Solveig dips his toes into it (but only slightly). Overall, “Ready 2 Go” is a well rounded track and, with the success of his previous hit single “Hello”, I wouldn’t be surprised if remixes to this sweet track are released soon.
Suggestion: Play this in the morning, and you’ll be “Ready 2 Go” for the duration of the day.
