If there’s anything our name suggests, it’s that we are addicted to bass and rising star, Zedd , has been our main supplier for months now. Ever since the release of “Shave It” back in October, Anton Zaslavski has become known for his signature, greasy bassline, reminiscent of an electric shaver. However, this time Zedd surprised everyone with the announcement of his latest creation, a Hardstyle-esque banger appropriately named “Shotgun” , released today on OWSLA. Some may say this isn’t exactly in Zedd’s style, but I say it’s good that Zedd is trying new things; the same way he experimented with dubstep in “Scorpion Move” . Don’t worry, it still features an interesting breakdown, catchy progressions and more bass than your body has room for ! While “Shotgun” may not be one of those leisurely tracks you’d calmly listen to while doing your work (though I still would), rest assured that the drop Live will make you jump like you’ve never jumped before (Here’s the UMF Proof) .
But until then, plug in your headphones/speakers, turn up the volume, bring the bass to the max and be ready to blown away by “Shotgun”. (Note: If you’re using shitty headphones or laptop speakers for this track, may God have mercy on your soul…)
