Adventure Club never disappoints. The two Canadian DJs really have their own style of dubstep; a rather soft and high pitched one, as most of their tracks show. Every time I listen to their newest remix of “Collect Call”, it reminds me of their older track “Everything to Me” or even “Crave You”. This is simply because of one reason; the vocals. Adventure Club tends to use tracks with beautifully sung vocals that are a big highlight in each of their songs.

With only 21 years of age, this DJ/Producer really has talent. Thomas Slinger (Gemini) describes his music as intense but always melodic, aggressive yet somehow uplifting. This is best heard in “Born To Die” with a smooth intro leading to a drop that could be called ‘aggressive’, but only to some extent.

If I were to say that this guy was ‘the shit’, I would lie, but he is getting there. I think it is outstanding how he tries to do everything himself. He writes, produces and sings his own music; directs, edits and acts himself in his music videos. Doing all of that is a lot of work, and not to forget, it’s not easy. Left Boy is mainly concentrating on rap/hip-hop, but this time he decided to play around with a little dubstep, which is perfect for EBT.
Crunkstep is Crizzley’s genre. Chris Marshall (Crizzly) uses some of the heaviest beats and lowest bases I’ve heard out there in the dark dubstep world. There is not much to say to this: all these crazy beats killed my words. BOOM
Dream – Go Hard (Crizzly Remix)
Slow heavy beats, scratchy wobbles and crazy bass. A great sign of a sick dubstep track. On top of that, it is a Noisia remix. The German DJs, Neosignal, established in 2008 and have been quite active since then. Their genre reaches from DnB and Broken Beats all the way to Minimal and Funk.
